An attempt to create dialogue between opposing worlds.
This series of paintings is inspired by the Italian poet Eugenio Montale's Cuttlefish Bones series. In his poems, the author talks about the absurdity of life. Today, we are witnessing the growth of turbulence in the world. What we need is a dialogue as opposed to a monologue, where people listen to one another rather than refuse to see the other's side. How can one create a space where differences and identities are treated with respect?
