BIOGRAPHY

Wolfgang Brenner takes part in numerous national and international exhibitions since the 1970s. Many of his works are in possession of renowned collections.

In terms of technique, Wolfgang Brenner likes to work with screen printing, photography, drawing and painting. Or with a combination of these, which he constructs and assembles on several layers in his typical style. All this requires strategy and imaginative foresight. In fact Wolfgang Brenner is a thinker and planner. He is not someone who paints or works in an inspired manner. No, Wolfgang Brenner thinks about his works in advance, considers what he wants to do and how he wants to do it. He works conceptually.Ultimately, Wolfgang Brenner's art is food for thought and an invitation to take a closer look in a world full of illusions.
