BIOGRAPHY



Rolana Čečkauskaitė was born in 1972 in Šiauliai of
Lithuania. In 1990 she graduated from Vilnius M.K.
Čiurlionis Art School and in 1995 she graduated from
Vilnius Academy of Fine Arts.
Since 1993, she has taken part in 190 group shows
and she has held 60 solo exhibitions in Lithuania,
USA, Latvia, Denmark, Ireland, Italy, Romania,
Germany, Slovenia, Andorra, Spain, France, Portugal,
Greece, Egypt, Japan, Bulgaria, Sweden, Switzerland,
Uzbekistan, Turkey, UK and Belarus.
Since 2000, she has participated in international
Competitions, Symposiums, Art Camps, Seminars,
Conferences.
Since 2003, she has lectured, organized and
coordinated art education seminars for educators.
Since 1999 she has been a member of the Lithuanian
Artists Association, and since 2010 a member of the
North Greece Artists Association. In 2015 she obtained
the Diploma of Mugla Province of Mentese District
Mayor, Turkey. In 2009 she received a special Award
for High Level of Creativity and Humor during the XXV
International Biennial “Humor in Art” in Tolentino of
Italy. In 2007 she received the Diploma of Romania
UNESCO commission and Calimanesti Municipality for
“Creativity participation in the International Art Camp
Vlaicu Ionescu”. In 2005 she was granted the Status of
an Art Creator by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic
of Lithuania. In 2004 she received an honorable letter
from The Republic of Lithuania Ministry of Education
and Science. In 2002 she took the Diploma of Vilnius
Municipality Culture, Education and Sport Department.
