BIOGRAPHY

Born in 1965 in Split, Jasna Barišić has been actively exhibiting since 2000. She exhibited in galleries and museums in Croatia as well as in Europe and the United States. Her works are in various private and public collections fine arts in Jordan, Greece, Reunion, Germany, USA, Brazil and Croatia. In 2003 she represented the Republic of Croatia at the International Biennial of Contemporary Art in Florence, in 2006 at the United Nations in New York as part of the CA project Connecting people, connecting cultures, in 2008 she participated in the International Biennial of Painters and Sculptors Mediterranean 2008, Museum of the City of Trogir.
In 2009 she participated at the Jordan Art Festival in Amman at the invitation of the Ministry of Culture of the Kingdom of Jordan and in 2010 at the Art & Science International Festival 2010 in the city of Patras, Greece.
She participated in the international collective exhibition ART X TECH, Blockchain center, Miami, USA, in 2019, and In 2020, she was a guest exhibitor at the annual exhibition of painters at Kunstverein Paderborn, Germany. With the cycle of paintings "Metamorphoses of nature" she presented herself with a solo exhibition in the gallery of the National Museum, City Lodge in 2021 and the Town Museum in Biograd in 2022.
Jasna is a member and one of the founders of the international group ConnectingArt. She is a member of HDLU Zadar and HULU Split. She lives and works in Zadar.
