BIOGRAPHY

Bet Serra (betsiloy) trained in Fine Arts, specialising in painting and art education. Her work as a teacher is combined with artistic projects in different disciplines, often based on collective proposals. She finds in collage the refuge to give texture to the forms, and with the mixture of techniques she achieves the perfect nuances to generate those subtleties that she proposes in her work. Her works are almost always related to the concept of eternal return and the cycle of life. Always very connected to the earth, she imprints in her work natural forms, leaves, branches and hidden landscapes that leave their mark and are repeated as constant elements. She likes the contrast of textures and organic forms that are slightly carried away by chance. Her plastic creations include paintings, drawings, artist's books, mural paintings and some installations. Her involvement in the world of the performing arts from a very young age has left its mark and he often uses dance, theatre or music as areference.
